Introduction

Tokisaki Kurumi is a character from Date A Live and Date A Bullet. This figure is based on an illustration for the visual novel Date A Live: Ren Dystopia. She is wearing a wedding dress and seems to be waiting for her husband.
Kurumi is a Spirit, a girl with great powers, able to kill people and even destroy buildings. She can manipulate time in order to change her speed or return to the past for instance. Here, she seems gentle but this peace can easily be broken if she finds one of her enemies.
I advise you to not read the following paragraph if you have not read all the Date A Live and Date A Bullet books.
I have not played Ren Dystopia because it is not available in English. But this outfit reminds me of the fake wedding in the OVA 2, Kurumi Star Festival, and, more importantly, the eighth volume of Date A Bullet. The lost Kurumi clone meeting Shido again was such a good event. I enjoyed reading the end of DAB and DAL. By the way, I wonder what the real Kurumi is doing alone during her after-Sprit life.
Kadokawa is the manufacturer for this figure which has a scale of 1/7.

Base: 8/10

With this figure, it is a little bit difficult to know what is the base and what is the figure, I think. Well, at least the fur can be considered as the base. It is gigantic with a diameter of almost 35 cm. It could be a problem to put her on a shelf. But it is a good way to spotlight the figure while being sufficiently discreet. The texture is nice and gives a premium feeling.

A grade of 8/10 is given to the base because of the massive size.

Design - Pose: 10/10

Tokisaki Kurumi Wedding Dress is a figure with removable parts. She is not NSFW though. I think the copyright holders do not want the Date A Live characters to be represented in NSFW figures. But nonetheless, this figure is sexy, even when all the parts are used. I do not like when characters are represented in sexy poses in figures when it is contrary to their customs. With Kurumi, there is no problem! In fact, she does not hesitate to use all she can to seduce the main character of Date A Live, Shido.
For now, let us look at the maximum level of coverture option. Kurumi is lying down with her very long dress. It seems she wants to invite someone to accompany her. Her left hand is toying with her garter belt strap as if she wanted to remove it. So bold! But it is only the beginning!

If we remove her veil, we have a better view on her hair. Long strands of hard detected! So beautiful! They are split and longer at her left. It is Kurumi's hairstyle. In her right hand, Kurumi is holding a bouquet which can be easily removed. Without it, her empty hand does not seem out of place.

Without her dress, Kurumi is very charming. In this configuration, the dress is not here to support her. So a small plastic support is placed between her butt and the floor. There is no pole so it can be displaced freely. The figure does not seem to move too much.

The pose is beautiful, a 10/10 is the natural grade.

Design - Painting: 9/10

The paint job is very good. I have not found any defect. However, it is compulsory to be extra careful removing her head (to put on the dress for example). I scratched her back and several red lines appeared! Fortunately, I succeeded in using a magic eraser to remove them. After this prevention instant, I will present several key points of the figure.
Kurumi is known especially for her left eye: a yellow clock! Her right eye is red. The eyes are very important for a character, and by extension its figures, as it is often a key point for its design, especially when the color is unusual. Notice the slight blush under her eyes. I do not like when it is too pronounced but here I find it relevant and not too noticeable.

Generally, I dislike translucent parts in figures. With Kurumi… it is the same. It gives an impression of plastic. It reminds me of plastic raincoats. Notice how you can see the red flowers before we move on to the next photo.

As it happens, the roses are here! Are they metallic? The paint is very shiny. In my opinion, it is rather strange. At least, they are very visible from afar. Moreover, the light pink roses in her head do not have the same finish.

Kurumi, what is happening to you? Why do you have bigger boobs than before!? Artistic choice, I guess. But we have more on this picture. The dress is decorated with a big ribbon at the front. She is wearing jewelry at her neck and arms and roses in her head. This last point is a detail I like a lot. I think hair is very important for me when deciding if I want to buy a figure. Another important element is the shading. Therefore, this figure is a real treasure with accessories on each side of the head and non uniform hair color. The bases are black and the tips tend to be pink. Also, we can clearly see the variations on the dress color with blue accents. A pure white would have been very boring.

It is funny how this figure is hiding such a sexy body. Big bosom, big thighs, visible navel, garter belts, corset… the night after the wedding will be very hot!

Nice view here! Hold on! Kurumi is in fact stripping down? A strap is already detached!

Barely perfect but the strange finish of the flowers and the transparent veil imply a 9/10.

Quality: 10/10

With Kadokawa, I know the quality will be generally good. I have not found any paint defects and the removable parts are sturdy.

Perfect quality, so perfect grade (10/10)!

Price: 10/10

I paid €223.74 for Kurumi. It is a very good price when I compare it to my other figures. Several possibilities to display her and her important popularity have not made the price too high.

When the price is not too high, I have to give a 10/10.

Total: 9.4/10

Kurumi in her wedding dress is a figure I particularly like. She reminds me of a very good scene in one of my favorite series but, even without this subjective feeling, it is very hard to find defects or design fails. This figure of Kurumi is very different from her other ones but she keeps her charming character. She is one of my favorite figures.

The final score is 9.4/10!
